Kuh Del Rosario
(CONCORDIA) LAUREATE 2024
Kuh Del Rosario is a recent MFA graduate from Concordia University in Sculpture and Ceramics, supported by The Peter N. Thomson Family Graduate Scholarship. As a Filipino-Canadian, Del Rosario works with and through materials to explore her hyphenated identity, relating to place/land and transformation over time.
Del Rosario founded and operated Elmo’s House Artist Residency in Batan, Aklan, Philippines, and participated in VIVA EXCON 2018 Biennial in Capiz, Philippines. She guest curated the group exhibition Tuloy Tawid at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie and recently participated in the Brucebo Summer Fine Art Residency (Gotland, Sweden). In the past year, Del Rosario exhibited at SKOL, Centre Clark, Maison de la Culture NDG, Stewart Hall Art Gallery, Port Loggia Gallery NSCAD, Gallery C103 UWinnipeg and Galerie Nicolas Robert.
Kuh Del Rosario is a recipient of the 2023-2026 Montreal Studio program at Fonderie Darling.
